Online payments that are verified, not assumed
Ecomesta supports hosted online payments through SSLCommerz and Stripe, plus a test provider for trying the flow. In every case, totals are calculated by the server and a payment only counts once the provider confirms it.
Available online providers
Each provider is enabled and configured per store. A provider only appears at checkout after the store has connected and enabled it.
- SSLCommerz — Bangladesh-focused hosted payment page, validated with SSLCommerz after each payment
- Stripe — hosted Stripe Checkout for card payments, confirmed through signed Stripe webhooks, where you have a Stripe account that supports your business
- Test payments — a deterministic provider for development and staging, so you can try the full checkout without real money
Why server-side verification matters
- The amount charged always comes from the order total calculated by Ecomesta
- A payment is marked paid only when the provider’s confirmation matches the order amount
- Duplicate provider notifications are ignored, so an order is never paid twice
- Customers can retry a failed or cancelled payment without placing a new order
Merchant configuration
Store managers connect providers from Payment settings: enter credentials, choose test or live mode, run a connection test and enable the provider. Secrets are stored encrypted and never shown again in full.

Can I connect Stripe?
Yes, if you have a Stripe account that supports your business. Add your Stripe secret key and webhook secret in Payment settings.
Is every provider available to every store automatically?
No. Each store connects the providers it wants with its own merchant accounts. Cash on Delivery needs no external account.
